I doubt God would appreciate a golden shrine, or some kind of ritualistic worship. God has revealed in His inspired word that doing good to others, not only is a blessing to them, but also a blessing unto God Himself, one that often returns to us. Simply put, we bless God by blessing those whom God loves.
Our destitute world is in need of God’s servants. God wills people to get into the deep end of worship and manifest good things, where they are needed most. Faith without deeds is dead and lifeless (James 2:14-26), therefore we should be alive in the faith, so that our impact will testify to the love of our Lord and Saviour.
Most people in our self-centred western culture care more about what blessings we can receive, than how we can bless others, let alone bless the Lord. We treat God as tho He is the wizard of oz and we bow before Him so that he will grant us our wishes. It’s almost as if God is our genie, and we ritualistically rub the old rusty lamp of religion, with rituals and superstition, in order that our desires will be fulfilled. Coming to God in prayer for a personal blessing, is not a sin, but when your a self-centred person, and your entire prayer life is centred around you, and not the needy, than you are not living up to your Godly potential.
If our needs are met, we should meet the needs of others. We should see a need and seek to meet it. In many parts of the world people are starving to death, and in the West there are people dying of heart disease and other ailments caused by obesity, or poor health choices such as tobacco use.
What does God will for Christmas 2016? Sacrificial giving and service to those who are impacted deeply by the plight of poverty and illness, that is inflicted upon our world’s poorest people. The need is immense and there is little being done to alleviate the burdens of people in impoverished parts of the world. Who will you bless this Christmas?
World population - 7 billion
795 million people - or one in 9 people on Earth - do not have enough to eat.
98% of the world’s undernourished people live in developing countries.
The worst parts of the world where hunger is most prevalent are
Asia: 525 million
Sub-Saharan Africa: 214 million
Latin America and the Caribbean: 37 million
Nearly half of all deaths in children under the age of 5 are attributable to malnutrition.
This equals the death of approximately 3 million children each year. Thats one child every 10 seconds, dead from hunger-related diseases.
6.3 million children died in 2013 from mostly preventable health issues such as malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia.
22,000 children die each day due to conditions of poverty.
Nearly 1,000 children per day die due to preventable water and sanitation-related diseases
About 896 million people in developing nations live off of less than $1.90 a day.
663 million people lack access to clean water
2.4 billion people lack adequate sanitation
The dreadful destitution of our world’s poorest people, is an abomination to God. Innocent men, women and children die every day, because they are too poor to stay alive. Meanwhile in the west, people are spending lavishly on themselves and those closest to them. We influence our children’s teachable spirits, with materialistic greed that secretes all facets of our godless culture. We train our kin to be self-centred by not teaching them the true value of abundance, and the concept of sharing that abundance with those who lack.
Often people say, “there’s so many problems in the world, one person can’t make a difference”, but that is far from true. A single person, even in a small way, can bless another and make a big difference in the world. The fact is, sometimes it only takes one person to change the world. And so what if your service is unnoticed by men? God sees all things and will reward people according to their deeds in the hereafter. So bless others as tho it is a blessing unto God, because that’s exactly who you bless with your sacrificial giving. Even the lowliest saint, will inherit glory in heaven, and the misers and scrooges, will wish they did more to bless others while living on Earth. Accumulating wealth and worldly influence, if not stewarded in a Kingdom centred way, is Devil worship that will burn up in the judgement.
The best thing we can do, is seek to fulfill the will of God. Often people are uncertain of God’s will in their lives. If that is the case, the best thing you can do, is love others and love God, to the best of your ability. When you fail at that, and we all fail, approach God humbly, asking for forgiveness, then continue on in your worship with the burden lifted off your shoulders. You can prove Satan is not your god, by worshiping the true Lord and Saviour without restraint.
By understanding who God is, what He has done, what He is doing and what He will do, we can truly know Him on a personal level. The Epic Testament, describes the true God, and His universal battle throughout history with His enemy Satan. I urge you to read it and receive a clear prophetic revelation. It will help you in understanding what God’s plans and purposes for creation are, and how you can walk hand and hand with your Divine Creator. Don’t put the truth off any longer. Our days are numbered, and better is one day in God’s providence, than a thousand spent living in worship of the Devil. There is no greater purpose you can fulfill, than a heart filled manifestation of God’s will in your life!
